The Hillsboro Hops are a High-A Minor League Baseball team based in Hillsboro, Oregon, and an affiliate of the Arizona Diamondbacks. As part of Minor League Baseball’s Copa de la Diversión initiative, the team also plays select games as the Soñadores de Hillsboro, a persona created to celebrate the local Latino community and the shared idea of pursuing dreams.

Project Overview: Poster design for the Hillsboro Hops’ Soñadores Día de las Madres themed game.
Goal: Create a warm and celebratory poster that captures the atmosphere of a baseball game while highlighting the bond between mothers and athletes.
Problem: Combine the energy of the ballpark with the emotional support and encouragement a mother provides to an athlete.
Solution: Developed a playful illustrated concept using the Soñadores’ colors, baseball imagery, and visual elements inspired by motherhood to create a poster that celebrates both the game and the people who support the athletes behind it.
