Echoes of Egypt is a conceptual, family-owned restaurant located in Malibu, California, inspired by the owners’ Egyptian roots and cultural heritage. The restaurant centers on family, connection, and tradition, creating an experience that celebrates Egyptian culture while bringing people together through food and shared memories.

Goal: Create a warm and elevated identity that celebrates Egyptian culture and symbolism, as well as family and the connection between food and heritage.

Problem: Develop a visual identity that feels authentic to the restaurant’s Egyptian roots while appealing to a diverse Malibu audience.

Solution: Created a cohesive branding system using typography, color, imagery, patterns and visual elements inspired by Egyptian culture and family traditions, bringing the restaurant’s story and values into a contemporary identity.
