Southern Oregon University’s beach volleyball team is based in Ashland, Oregon, and competes as the Raiders in the NAIA and Cascade Collegiate Conference. The program launched in 2023 and has quickly become a national contender, winning its first NAIA Beach Volleyball Invitational national championship in 2026.
Project Overview: Social media graphics created for Southern Oregon University’s beach volleyball team.
Goal: Create engaging content that highlights the team, athletes, games, and accomplishments across social media.
Problem: Develop visuals that capture the energy of the team while staying consistent with the university’s athletic brand.
Solution: Create a flexible graphic system using typography, color, photography, and composition to produce posts for game days, results, announcements, and team achievements.
The posts focused on building excitement around the team while celebrating its competitive spirit and success.

I also had the opportunity to serve as the team’s media person during the National Invitational, capturing content in a fast-paced environment and learning how to tell a team’s story in real time through photography and social media.
